What still runs when the fog rolls off Nantucket Sound

Design, seasonal open/close, leaks, and controllers — work we still take from Bakers Drive Ext.

01 · Design

New system design & install

We walk the Harwich lot, split beds from turf, and size laterals for Cape pressure — not a catalog drawing from another climate.

Pipe, valves, and heads get installed so a winter blow-out does not leave you with a cracked fitting in March.

02 · Seasonal

Spring start & winterization

Open the system when the ground thaws. Blow out laterals before the first hard freeze. Dates stay on your ticket.

If last year’s winterize was skipped, we check fittings before we run a full zone cycle.

03 · Repair

Leak hunt, heads & valves

Wet circles in the lawn, a valve that will not seat, a rotor stuck open — we isolate the zone before we dig a trench across the patio.

Repairs get written to the zone map so the next spring start is not a scavenger hunt.

04 · Controllers

Smart controller upgrades

Dead dials and mystery schedules get replaced with a labeled controller that still respects Cape weather swings.

You leave with zone names on the dial — not a photo of a half-erased sticker.

On every job

Stake, pressure, then we leave the controller labeled

01

Walk

Lot edges, beds, and where fog leaves the Cape wetter than the ridge.

02

Pressure

Manifold reading before we size heads or drip.

03

Zones

Pipe and valves matched to what each bed needs.

04

Label

Controller marked; winterize date on the slip.

Leave a Harwich digit. Robert rings back.
